Mahendra Ranchhod Patel, 72, of Navsari, India (Khad Supa) passed away peacefully in his home in the mid afternoon on Jan. 6. Mahendra was born on Dec. 15, 1944 in Navsari, (Khad Supa) India. He matured very quickly as he lost his father when he was young. He did not finish his education but focused his energy on raising his family by becoming a farmer so he would harvest rice and do odd jobs to support his siblings and his mother. He left behind his wife Madhu Mahendra Patel, daughter Jayna Mani, son-in-law AJ Mani and grandson Udev. He was active in the community garden and enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and speaking with various neighbors. He was not fluent in English but took pride in the community and tried to connect with everyone. We will miss his sense of humor and ask all who knew him to keep him in your prayers.
