David Alan Dostaler of Grand Junction, passed away peacefully at Porter Hospice in Centennial on May 3, 2016. David Alan Dostaler was born in Milwaukee, Wis. on Feb. 26, 1942 to Oliver and Ruth Dostaler (Loomis). David moved to Gunnison, Colo. in 1976 and along with his wife, Nancy and owned the Gunnison Country Shopper. In 1984, David relocated with his family to Montrose. David moved to Grand Junction in 1991.
David is survived by his sons, David and wife Lori Of Castle Rock; his son John and husband Troy of Chicago, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. David is preceded in death by his wife Nancy Dostaler and daughter Christy Dostaler-Fink. A private memorial service will be held graveside in Grand Junction. A celebration of life will be held at The Ale House in Grand Junction at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 4. Cremation services provided by AGAPE Funeral Services of Littleton, Colo.
